Dr. Carol Welsh, Director of the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for Teaching and a breast cancer survivor, is dedicated to helping others heal through journaling. Carol runs a Journal for Healing class at the Lancaster General Hospital. She started writing poems to help her cope with the trials of radiation therapy. She is an inspiration to her Millersville University students and all those who meet her. Today, her poems help other cancer survivors feel less alone.
